25 Creative prompts to fuel your social media engine.

Posting on social media can feel like being on a hamster wheel, a never ending loop of content to create and post. While social channels are important avenues to grow and engage the audience for your business, it does require some strategy, consistency, and a lot of interesting content – which can be exhausting. Done well, social media can;

  • drive traffic to your website

  • generate leads and customers

  • increase brand awareness

  • build relationships

  • help you respond in real-time to client/customer concerns

A couple of things to keep in mind before we get into the creative social media prompts. Definitely make sure you’re picking the right channels for your specific demographic, you don’t need to be on every channel, just be where your audience is. Better to do one channel well than three poorly. You want to be monitoring the comments as well. Don’t just post… participate. Social media channels are communities, pay attention to who’s engaging with your content and engage back—respond to comments, like, share and comment on their posts.

We recommend using the 70 / 20/ 10 rule when posting content. In other words, 70% of your content is informational, 20% in emotional, 10% is promotional. For example;

The last piece of advice is to understand your posting style, be honest about what feels authentic and what works for you and your schedule.
